●You can inspect the brake pads yourself, if you notice there is less than a quarter of the brake pad left then they need to be replaced before more damage is done.

●Vibrating brake pedals are signs that your pads are worn out.

By maintaining your car’s braking system, you will be ahead of the warning signs and keep your car's performance intact. Here are a few things you can do to maintain your brake pads and discs:

●Check the brake discs regularly for signs of damage by removing the tyre and looking for uneven wear or rusting of the part.

●If you’re replacing the tyre, always check the brake calliper to make sure it’s secure and if your pads are looking thin or you can see metal showing through them, they also need to be replaced.

●Brake fluid top up and replacements are also key for keeping your braking system in good health.
