MoT test

Our recent poll on Facebook showed that 53% of people are still unsure of what the changes are in the new MoT test. Our survey sent out to hundreds of people has shown similar results that half of those surveyed didn’t know exactly what had changed in the MoT test.

To help, MyCarNeedsA.com have created a handy graphic that shows a list of the new changes and what is different in comparison to the old MoT test. The changes are straightforward, there are also new MoT categories that determine if the car is safe to drive. The MoT test now lets you know exactly what is wrong with the car, it will also show what is dangerous to your safety as well as the environment and what will need to be looked at in the next few months. The MoT categories are split into five sections.

  • Dangerous
  • Major
  • Minor
  • Advisory
  • Pass

This infographic explains it all, take a look.
